At 18 months old Kieran was diagnosed with Autism. Kieran’s form of autism means he doesn’t use words to communicate and needs full time one to one care.
Kieran has been going to the Log Cabin in West London for 9 years. The Log Cabin is a place for disabled children or those with additional needs to mix with others. It’s somewhere to play and make friends regardless of ability.
"Log Cabin is a place where there are no barriers, it gives children an opportunity to thrive; to enjoy; to socialise,” says Krystyne, a Senior Playworker funded by BBC Children in Need.
