But look at what Candice and Jane are up to already!

<p>The Great British Bake Off aired its final episode on BBC One last night, prompting fans of the baking show to flood social media with their emotional farewells.</p><p>As P.E teacher Candice Brown was crowned the winner of GBBO 2016, viewers couldn&rsquo;t help but notice the bittersweet nature of the finale, given that it&rsquo;s the last time original line-up - Mary Berry, Paul Hollywood, Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc - will appear on the show together (apart from the BBC Christmas special, of course).</p><p>Following tense negotiations, Bake Off creators Love Production <a href="https://www.asda.com/good-living/article/mary-berry-paul-hollywood-great-british-bake-off">announced in September</a> that they would be moving the show to Channel 4, with a reported £75 million three-year deal.</p><p>Then came the fallout.</p><p>Mel and Sue were quick to denounce the move, adding that they wouldn&rsquo;t be ‘following the dough&rsquo; to Bake Off&rsquo;s new home, with Mary Berry confirming shortly afterwards that she also would be stepping down as a GBBO judge.</p><p>Though <a href="https://www.asda.com/good-living/article/paul-hollywood">Paul Hollywood</a> will be sticking with the Bake Off, his new co-stars are yet to be announced, leaving fans in flux as to what to expect next from their beloved Wednesday night show.</p><blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p dir="ltr" lang="en">Thank you Mel, thank you <a href="https://twitter.com/sueperkins">@sueperkins</a> thank you Mary. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/GBBO?src=hash">#GBBO</a> genuinely made the world a nicer, happier, kinder place.
