These little machines use much less oil, compared to deep-frying, Air-fried foods have 70-80 percent less calories and fat drains away from the food while cooking.&nbsp;</p>
<p>They also speed up cooking time, and are more energy-efficient than using a conventional oven. Perfect for when your cooking on a budget! Not to mention any mess is contained, as they don't use a lot of hot oils (which can splatter) saving you the faff of cleaning up after. What's not to love?</p>

<li>Don't overcrowed your fryer - it will effect the way the air circulates, making your food cook unevenly.</li>
<li>If aiming for a crispy finish, give the food a spritz of low-calorie oil 1-2 minutes after the start of cooking, then shake the food half way through.</li>
<li>The perfect temperature for most recipes is 200℃; lower to 160℃ for cakes.</li>
