The full line-up for the <a href="http://letour.yorkshire.com/" target="_blank">Tour de Yorkshire 2017</a> has been announced! And we're gearing up for another year of incredible racing and excitable crowds.Thousands of spectators are expected to line the route around the beautiful scenic county of Yorkshire for the three-day men's cycling event and one-day women's race which run between Friday 28 April and Sunday 30 April.Asda are especially proud to be <a href="http://letour.yorkshire.com/the-asda-womens-tour-de-yorkshire-race" target="_blank">sponsoring the women's race</a> for another year, following their involvement in the Tour de France in 2014. Kristian Barrett, Senior Director for the Yorkshire Region said “It&rsquo;s a privilege to be supporting the Women&rsquo;s Tour de Yorkshire and helping to raise the profile of women&rsquo;s sports. In 2014 Asda was the official partner of the Tour Makers for the Yorkshire Grand Départ, which was a resounding success.We&rsquo;re incredibly proud of our Yorkshire roots and wanted to remain part of this exciting legacy that works to bring communities together in celebration of an amazing sport set against the backdrop of an unbeatable county.”Yorkshire is a county that is passionate about cycling - you only need to head out at the weekend in the Yorkshire countryside to see big groups of cyclists making the most of the beautiful scenery and challenging climbs.So if you're Yorkshire-based and want to witness the event, make sure you head out early to secure a good viewing spot.<center><img alt="yorkshire_1__square" class="ci-image ci-original" src="https://ui3.assets-asda.com/dm/yorkshire_1__square_GL?scl=1"></center><h2>The course</h2>The full course, which covers 304 miles through Yorkshire&rsquo;s beautiful scenery, has three stages.Stage 1, which is 107.5 miles, starts in Bridlington and finishes in Scarborough, Stage 2 begins in Tadcaster and ends in Harrogate while Stage 3 commences in Bradford and ends 121 miles later at Fox Valley in Sheffield.The women&rsquo;s race takes place Saturday morning (April 29) and will see participants take on the <a href="http://letour.yorkshire.com/womens-race/map" target="_blank">76 miles</a> from Tadcaster to Harrogate in Stage 2. The action commences on the newly-reopened Tadcaster Bridge and ventures into Knaresborough where the first intermediate sprint points are up for grabs. The sole categorised climb comes on the Côte de Lofthouse and then it&rsquo;s on to Ripon for the second intermediate sprint.
