Ingredients

300g of Asda ready to cook French Fries

4 tsp Cook! By ASDA Loaded Fries Seasoning

3 sprays FryLight

310g ASDA Bacon Lardons

2 tbsp Butter

2 tbsp all purpose Flour

300ml Semi-Skimmed Milk

50g Cheddar Cheese

50g Red Leicester Cheese

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Pepper

4 Spring Onions

Method

1
Preheat oven to 180°C fan.
2
Spread the fries on to a baking tray and sprinkle generously with ASDA Loaded Fries Seasoning.
3
Place fries into the oven for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
4
Next, spray a frying pan with FryLight and fry the bacon lardons for 8-10 minutes. While the bacon is cooking, prepare the sauce.
5
In a small saucepan on medium heat, melt the butter, and whisk in the flour a little at a time for 1 minute. Slowly whisk in the milk until the mixture thickens (about 5 minutes).
6
Turn down the heat to low and stir in the cheese a little at a time.
7
Take off the heat and continue whisking. Add salt and pepper here to taste.
8
Chop the spring onions finely.
9
Distribute the fries evenly into 4-6 bowls. Pour the cheese sauce over each portion of fries.
10
Top with the bacon and spring onions. Add a pinch of salt and pepper and optional sour cream.
