Ingredients

4 slices Asda Extra Special Sage, Onion and Cranberry Sourdough

4 tbsp Asda Blackberry and Plum Chutney

80g Asda Extra Special Brie De Meaux AOP, sliced

2 large slices leftover Ham (about 85g)

40g Watercress

½ tbsp Rapeseed Oil

Method

1
Add 2 tbsp chutney to a slice of sourdough, then add half the sliced brie. Place a slice of ham on top, then half the watercress. Press down the remaining slice of bread on top. A pinch of freshly ground black pepper and some leftover stuffing certainly wouldn’t go amiss if you wanted to add even more flavour.
2
Place a non-stick frying pan over a medium-high heat and add half the oil and allow to get hot. When hot, add the toastie to the pan and press down firmly with a fish slice or spatula. Toast for 2–3 mins each side until golden and crisp.
3
Assemble the second toastie in the same way and repeat the process. Serve straight away while the cheese is gooey and delicious.
4
Add a side salad with leftover honey-roasted carrots dressed in balsamic vinegar to feel a little more virtuous when devouring.
