Ingredients

1 medium brown onion

4 cloves fresh garlic

400g tin KTC Chickpeas drained

2tbsp Tomato puree

1tbsp Cook by Asda cumin powder

1/2 tsp Cook by Asda tumeric powder

1tsp Cook by Asda paprika powder

1tsp Cook by Asda ground cinnamon powder

1tsp Cook by Asda ground ginger powder

1/2tsp ground black pepper

Salt to taste

50g KTC Vermicelli

50g Cook by Asda cornflour mixed with 200 ml water

1 litre Asda Vegetable stock

Fresh Corriander, to serve

Lemon, to serve

Method

Fry off the onions and spices, then add in the chickpeas, and vegetable stock and cook for 15 minutes.

Thicken with cornflour to liking, and cook for a further 10 minutes.

Add in the vermicelli and cook for 5 minutes and serve.

Garnish with coriander and freshly squeezed lemon juice.
