Ingredients

10 ASDA Butcher’s Selection Unsmoked Back Bacon Rashers, chopped

2tbsp ASDA Canadian Maple Syrup

600ml ASDA Fresh Double Cream

½ x 397g can condensed milk

Method

1
Put a splash of oil in a frying pan on a medium-high heat. Add the bacon and fry until crispy. Leave to cool on a piece of kitchen paper.
2
Set aside a few pieces of the bacon and a little of the maple syrup for decoration. Put the rest of the bacon in a bowl, pour over the rest of the maple syrup and mix together.
3
Put the double cream and condensed milk in a large mixing bowl. Whisk together until thick and creamy. Add the bacon and syrup mixture to the whipped cream and stir through.
4
Pour into a freezer-proof container, such as a metal dish, plastic container or loaf tin. Cover with clingfilm to seal if the container doesn’t have a lid. Freeze for at least 4 hrs until solid.
5
Serve topped with the reserved crispy bacon and maple syrup.
