Ingredients

200g melted butter

200g Asda white chocolate, chopped

150g soft brown sugar

150g golden caster sugar

1tsp vanilla essence

3 Asda Large Free-Range eggs

250g plain flour

1tsp baking powder

2 x packs Oreos, 6 whizzed up, 16 left whole and the rest roughly chopped for the topping

Method

1
Pre-heat the oven to 180C/160C Fan/Gas 4. Line a square brownie tin with baking paper.
2
Quarter fill a small saucepan with water and place the bowl over the water – the base of the bowl shouldn’t touch the water. Put the pan over a low heat and melt the butter and 100g of chocolate are, stirring occasionally. Remove the bowl from the pan and set aside to cool slightly. Alternatively, you can do this in short bursts in a microwave.
3
Whisk in the sugar and vanilla until combined.
4
Slowly add the eggs one-by-one, followed by the flour and baking powder.
5
Gently fold in the chopped chocolate and whizzed Oreo’s.
6
Pour half the batter and level it out, evenly top with 12 whole Oreo’s to cover the batter. Pour over the remaining batter ad finish with the remining chopped Oreo’s.
7
Bake for 30-40 minutes until cooked but still squidgy.
8
Cool in the tin for at least 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack and leave until cold. Cut into 12 squares.
