Ingredients

50g unsalted butter, diced

70g plain flour

1tsp ground cinnamon

50g ground almonds

2 x 410g tins Asda Pear Halves in Fruit Juice

350g Frozen for Freshness Blackberries

1tsp cornflour

1tsp vanilla extract

150ml single cream

Method

Preheat the oven to 180C/160C Fan/Gas 4.

Rub the butter into the flour. Stir in the cinnamon and almonds; set aside.

Drain the pears, reserving 2tbsp of the juice; slice each half into 4 chunks.

In a large bowl, toss the pears and blackberries with the cornflour. Stir in the vanilla and reserved juice.

Tip the fruit mixture into a 20cm x 25cm baking dish. Sprinkle over the crumble topping. Bake for 25-35 mins, until the crumble begins to brown. Serve with the cream, to drizzle over.
