Ingredients

1 x 255g Asda Extra Special Aberdeen Angus Rump Steak

2 slices Applewood Smoke Flavoured Cheddar Cheese

2 Asda Ciabatta Rolls

A handful of Watercress

Method

1
Take 1 thick-cut rump steak out of the fridge 20 mins before you want to eat.
2
Heat a non-stick frying pan with a lid until hot. Season the steak, then fry for 3 mins on each side for medium, searing the sides using tongs, then rest on a plate for 2 mins (don’t wash the pan).
3
Slice the steak thinly, then gather into two oblong piles back in the frying pan. Top each pile with 2 slices smoked cheese and quickly cover with the pan lid. Leave for 3–5 mins until the cheese melts.
4
Split the ciabatta and use a fish slice to lift each cheesy steak pile onto a roll base. Top with a few watercress leaves and the ciabatta lid.
