We will recycle the one you’re replacing for free. Simply bring your old electrical item into one of our stores (excluded Asda Express) within 28 days of purchase, show the proof of purchase for the one you bought to a colleague at the customer service desk, and we will do the rest.
We will also accept any small electrical item that is less than 30cm on its longest edge no receipt required, just hand it over to our colleagues at the customer service desk and we will recycle for you.

Asda supports the recycling of used domestic/ portable batteries and vapes containing batteries as there are several environmental benefits of doing so, such as: Reduction of raw material, energy usage, prevention of landfill or incineration. Recycling the metals within domestic/ portable batteries.
All Asda stores will accept batteries and vapes for recycling look out of the separate recycling bins in store, these are usually found at the customer service desk or close to checkouts but will vary from store to store.
