Ingredients

500g cranberries

1tbsp Cointreau (optional)

Zest and juice 1 orange

100g caster sugar

2tbsp maple syrup

Method

1
Put the cranberries, Cointreau (if using) and the orange zest and juice in a pan, then bring to a gentle simmer.
2
Add the caster sugar and stir until it dissolves completely. Add the maple syrup. Simmer for 4 mins or until the cranberries burst.
