Ingredients

75g soft goat’s cheese

75g Asda Full Fat Soft Cheese

50g walnuts, toasted and roughly chopped

15g butter

1 large ripe (but not over-ripe) pear, sliced

Mixed salad leaves, to serve

Method

Put the cheeses in a large bowl and mash together with a fork. Lay a large piece of cling film on a work surface. Spoon the cheese on top and gently roll into a log. Chill for 30 minutes.

Remove the cling film and roll the cheese log in the chopped walnuts. Chill until ready to serve.

Heat the butter in a pan, add the pear slices and cook until golden.

Slice the cheese roll and arrange on plates with the pear and salad. Sprinkle with black pepper and serve.
