Ingredients

1 onion, chopped

2 carrots, diced

1 red pepper, sliced

400g can Asda Chopped Tomatoes with herbs

450g pack Asda Turkey Mince

50g fresh breadcrumbs

300g spaghetti

2 tbsp vegetable oil

Method

1
Soften the onion in 1 tbsp oil add the carrot, pepper and tomatoes. Partially cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Purée, season, then return to the pan.
2
Put the turkey mince and breadcrumbs in a bowl and season. Mix and shape into 20 meatballs.
3
Heat the remaining oil in a frying pan and cook the meatballs until they brown (they don’t need to be cooked through). You may need to do this in two batches.
4
Add the meatballs to the sauce, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
5
Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in boiling water for 10-12 minutes. Drain and serve with the meatballs and sauce.
