Ingredients

1 thick slice bread

75g lean cooked ham

1 level tbsp thyme, leaves only

500g Butcher's Selection Lean Steak Mince

40g Parmesan, grated

1 medium egg, beaten

1 tbsp sunflower oil

Tomato ketchup, for dipping

Method

Pre-heat the oven to 180C/160C Fan/Gas 4. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Whizz the bread, ham and thyme in a processor until finely chopped.

Put in a bowl and add the mince, Parmesan and egg. Mix with your hands to combine and bring together.

Wash your hands, leaving them wet. Divide the mince into 24 and shape into small kofta shapes.

Heat the oil in a large frying pan and cook the koftas in batches until browned all over. Transfer to the baking tray. Cook in the oven for 8-10 minutes. Serve warm with ketchup.
